Task: Create a digital and paper menu
Winghaus offers upscale American-style fried food made with high-quality ingredients.
I worked with Winghaus to redesign their menu when they were introducing a vegetarian option.
The following problems needed solving:
Add 20-25% more information to an already cramped menu without changing the format.
indicate that the new product is suitable for vegetarians
Improve the ease of use of the menu and the selection process as many customers were confused by the previous menu needing further clarification and many didn't realise what is included in the price, which significantly slowed down the service.
Draw attention to the "combo" menu items which yield higher profits for the business
The paper menu needed to be A4 size with one side in English and the other in Czech.
The digital menu would be displayed on a TV and needed to be easily read from a distance and understood with a very basic grasp of the Czech language
