The Reel Film Challenge is a yearly non-profit event where filmmakers travel from London to Budapest and create a short film on the way, aimed at stimulating creativity and share knowledge.
As everyone is in quarantine due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the creators of the original event decided to launch an online challenge to give the locked-down creators a creative outlet and a chance to connect beyond the four walls of their home with like-minded individuals.
The logo was supposed to be reminiscent of a film reel as it is central to the imagery of the brand and incorporate elements of walls without evoking the feeling of confinement. The words "Four Walls Film Challenge" were also meant to be present in a predefined font.
The collaboration was very quick, only taking four days from start to finish. At the beginning of the process, I presented the client with a few concepts. One was then selected for me to finalise.
